“What company did I choose for my roof??? ” You may be asking this if you read my Done Rite Roofing yelp review. Daryl Schram roofing is where I went! After researching my rear end off, and asking a million questions, I realized that I could spend a few thousand less and get a 10 year labor warranty with a company that may or may not be in business in a few years OR I could go with one of only 7 master elite roofers in Pinellas County and get an amazing warranty and peace of mind. I got a lifetime shingle (aka 50 year shingle which I may get 30 years out of with the FL elements) and a 25 year warranty that is through GAF, so Daryl Schram (who LOVES what he does, btw) could retire tomorrow if he wanted and my roof is fully covered for 25 years. (After realizing that one of my storm doors is leaking and I called the company that installed them and I’m not too happy to find out they are no longer in business. Anyway, this GAF warranty is pretty invaluable when you think of all the companies that are coming and going in and out of business.)
So, not only do I have the peace of mind feeling, but I KNOW for fact that my roof was done correctly because of the documentation this company performs. They took over 100 pictures of the process and the repairs they had to make. I was missing flashings around my chimney and entry and had extensive damage from 20 years of elements, which they fixed. Anyway, when I finished the whole re-roofing process, I felt like I left with a new friend as I worked closely with Margie Schram. You can’t find a more helpful person to work with and she is wonderful.
I paid big bucks for my roof and that great warranty….it was not cheap, but doing business with Daryl & Margie felt right and I highly recommend them-at least get a free estimate. 5 Stars means “As good as it gets!” And that is what I mean!
